Kanodia Technoplast engineers a focused range of speciality Cast Polypropylene (CPP) films that solve packaging problems standard films cannot. Each grade is developed for a specific functional need — extreme heat resistance for retort pouches, fog-free clarity for fresh produce, ultra-high barrier for snacks, or a soft matte finish for premium shelf presence. As India’s largest CPP films manufacturer, we build these speciality grades on our own 7-layer co-extrusion lines, giving converters and brand owners a level of consistency that generic films cannot match.

Our Speciality CPP Film Range
Every speciality film below is manufactured in-house at our Kundli, Haryana facility and can be customised on thickness, treatment side, and surface finish to match your converting process.
Retort Grade CPP Film
- Thickness: 50–75 microns
- Properties: Withstands sterilisation and pasteurisation temperatures up to 121°C without seal failure or delamination. One side corona treated for strong lamination bond.
- Applications:Â Ready-to-eat meals, retort pouches, hot-fill sauces, pharmaceutical sterile packaging.
Anti-Fog CPP Film
- Thickness: 30–50 microns
- Properties:Â Engineered anti-fog coating prevents condensation build-up under both chilled and hot-fill conditions, keeping pack contents visible.
- Applications:Â Fresh vegetables, fruits, salads, and chilled meat packaging.
High Barrier Metallised CPP Film
- Thickness: 22–30 microns
- Properties:Â Vacuum-metallised layer delivers strong oxygen, moisture, and aroma barrier with excellent metal adhesion. Low seal initiation temperature and broad hot tack for high-speed FFS lines.
- Applications:Â Biscuits, snacks, confectionery, and condiment packaging.
Low SIT Sealant CPP Film
- Thickness: 20–25 microns
- Properties:Â Low seal initiation temperature with a broad sealing range and high hot tack strength, built for consistent seals on high-speed form-fill-seal machines.
- Applications:Â Condiment sachets, liquid pouches, and high-throughput FFS packaging lines.
Solid White CPP Film
- Thickness: 22–40 microns
- Properties:Â Co-extruded opaque white film with low SIT sealant on one side and a corona-treated print surface on the other, giving strong print opacity and vibrant graphics.
- Applications:Â Biscuit and snack lamination, opaque pouch structures.
Matte / Soft-Touch Finish Film
- Thickness: 18–30 microns
- Properties:Â A micro-textured matte surface gives packs a premium, soft-touch feel while the reverse side stays fully printable for high-impact graphics.
- Applications:Â Premium FMCG packs, personal care pouches, gift and stationery packaging.
Twist Wrap Film
- Thickness: 18–30 microns
- Properties:Â Built for cold and hot twist applications with reliable memory retention, so wrapped ends hold their shape without unwinding.
- Applications:Â Candy, toffee, and confectionery twist-wrap packaging.
High COF Heavy-Duty Film
- Thickness: 15–50 microns
- Properties:Â High coefficient of friction on the sealing side improves stacking stability for heavy or bulk packs, with a treated reverse side for clean printing.
- Applications:Â Pet food bags, rice bags, and heavy-duty industrial bags.

Frequently asked questions
What are speciality CPP films used for?
Speciality CPP films solve a specific packaging problem that standard films cannot — such as withstanding retort sterilisation temperatures, preventing fog build-up on fresh produce packs, or giving a premium matte finish to FMCG packaging. Each grade is engineered with a functional property matched to one application.
Does Kanodia manufacture retort grade CPP film in India?
Yes. Kanodia Technoplast manufactures retort grade CPP film that withstands sterilisation and pasteurisation up to 121°C, suitable for ready-to-eat meals, hot-fill sauces, and pharmaceutical sterile packaging.
Can speciality films be customised on thickness and finish?
Yes. Every speciality film grade can be adjusted for thickness, treatment side, and surface finish to match a converter’s lamination process or a brand’s specific packaging design.
What is the difference between anti-fog film and standard CPP film?
Anti-fog CPP film carries an engineered coating that stops condensation from forming under chilled or hot-fill conditions, keeping the pack contents visible. Standard CPP film has no such coating and will fog up under the same conditions.
Which industries use Kanodia's speciality films?
Food and beverage, snacks and confectionery, fresh produce, pharmaceuticals, personal care, and pet food and heavy-duty bag manufacturers all use Kanodia’s speciality CPP film range.
